A dedicated volunteer physician who was Orhun’s twin sister tragically lost her life in Africa at the hands of criminal groups. Orhun sets out on a journey to exact revenge on her killers after learning of her horrific death.
Orhun meets Hira, a beautiful young slave girl whom he believes was involved in his sister’s death, while traveling through Africa. Orhun, who is returning to Turkey out of an unquenchable thirst for vengeance, sticks by Hira’s side even though she is innocent. Their relationship gets more complicated as the story goes on.
Cenk Torun plays Orhun, who is the heir to a prosperous family. Though at first driven by a desire for retribution, he never wavers in his pursuit of justice. Mahassine Merabet’s portrayal of Hira, in contrast, shows her as a lady who has accepted her lot and has never experienced freedom.
The show explores how their connection develops as Orhun struggles with his developing love for Hira and her will to prove her innocence. Hira recognizes the good in Orhun despite the harshness he exhibits her, which creates a complex emotional web.
