Istanbul is the location of “Kendi Düşen Ağlamaz” TV series filming. The series is filmed in one of Istanbul’s more sedate neighbourhoods. Filming is still ongoing in a quiet neighbourhood with detached, two- or three-story homes covered in wood.
Alize was raised by her father for many years after losing her mother on the day of her birth. Beautiful yet self-centered Alize, a young girl, loses her mind after her father gets remarried. Her choice is to exact revenge. She plans to stage a marriage with someone she doesn’t want in order to stop her father from getting married. Yet Alize’s plans don’t work out as they do.
After attending the service for Kadir, Alize becomes dubious of what she learnt. He is soon to discover that it was Kadir who prevented his aunt Esma from dying in the Çatalca fire. He will receive a somewhat unexpected response when he asks the questions that have been bothering him in public. As a result of having to keep certain details about Alize’s life a secret, Serkan starts to feel deeply guilty about her. When the regret becomes humiliation, he decides to gradually stop talking to Alize and act distant.
Alize, on the other hand, finds Serkan offensive and finds it difficult to understand this abrupt change. On the other side, Nurettin and Kadir make every effort to ensure that Alize does not understand the marital game they are playing. Along with Sinem, Nurettin is searching for Türkan, Serkan’s mother. They discover Türkan in an unexpected circumstance. Sinem, unable to bear this, extends an offer to Türkan to work at the hotel, but Türkan declines. Alize begs Serkan for assistance in sabotaging Nurettin and Sinem’s engagement, but Serkan takes such an extreme measure that Alize is forced to break every rule.
Alize is displeased with Serkan’s assistance in arranging Nurettin and Sinem’s engagement. Alize believes Serkan wants to leave her behind and even dissolve their union. Nonetheless, due of the game they played together, Serkan harbours intense feelings of remorse and guilt towards Alize. Plus, the biggest unexpected surprise of all was that they falter when love is shown. They are unsure on what to do. When Alize is about to file for divorce, she takes a sudden turn of events and follows a stranger’s advise. She won’t dissolve her marriage and will fight for Serkan till the very end.
